Bioplast Custom blends are both products and an approach we have to problem solving for our customers.
We have designed and created a number of standard blends using a mix of our base resins to produce differing qualities for specific applications - Bioplast 2055 is 50% Bioplast 106 and 50% Bioplast 2189.
Bespoke blends can be manufactured to customers specific requirements ranging from 10% Bioplast 2189 and 90% Bioplast 106 and vice versa.
Characteristics
Our Custom blends are certified EN 13432 and DIN CERTCO biodegradable and compostable - depending on thickness (Din 7W0077 @ 120 mµ).
If you are thinking of food as an end product Bioplast blends have both EU and FDA (USA) Food Contact Approval.
Blended resins can be coloured, provided the pigments used are biodegradable. Films are also suitable for printing either by flexographic or offset printing without any requirement for pre-treatment.
End Use
Custom Blends have been designed and created to produce differing qualities for our customer's specific requirements, however applications include: Formed parts and film usage.
This product is extremely versatile and can be made into sheet for thermoforming,
blown into thin sheet for film, or injection moulded into virtually any shape.
Bioplast blends have the unique ability to 'drop into' most applications
with little adjustment or affect on performance.
